Play Group"Tiny Turtles" Lakes Entrance Baptist Church Play Group 141 Princes Highway, Lakes Entrance, 3909 The Lakes Entrance Baptist Church Play Group, ( “Tiny Turtles”), offers a structured one and a half hours on both Thursday and Friday mornings from 10.00 til 11.30 am (excepting school holidays and notice of earlier break-ups). Free play to begin with in a relaxed environment offers excellent inside and outdoor play activities to help foster creativity and also meet and stimulate the needs of different personality types. Before sitting down to morning tea we have ‘music time’ in which the children are encouraged to participate. This is yet another aspect from which children can learn to develop socially, emotionally and intellectually. A simple, but very carefully prepackaged craft is prepared for each child to put together. This is a time that most parents will sit with their children who are old enough to participate, and enjoy encouraging their child in the finer-motor skills. Should you be considering joining a Playgroup then Parents/Carers along with their children are most welcome to come and see us ‘in action’ and have a talk with either myself or another helper. Please don’t hesitate to call me should you have any further queries – Phone: 5155 1066
Miriam Basset, Supporter, “Tiny Turtles”, Dip. Children’s Services.
PS: I would like to make mention that this excellent program and the facilities has been, initiated, ; implemented and organized by Mr Denis & Mrs Barbara Stingell, members of the Lakes Entrance Baptist Church who have been actively involved in children’s ministries for at least the past thirty years.

Youth GroupThe Youth Group last month held a camp at Conran, it was just like a big family Getaway weekend. It was all so good to just be with one another. The daughters outnumbered the sons but that didn't matter. There were two main studies presented by Joash, currently a student of theology and who has had training and experience in leading young people.
